Todo es culpa suya; deborador de libros, revistas, arte y costumbres socioloquesea, aquel que un día me convenció para empapelar un salón a base de Cinemanía. Miguel me planteó la cuestión, el horizonte y objetivo de Naftalina. Los límites de mis referentes en torno a lo que yo considero ingenioso y creativo. ¿Quién es para tí un referente? Ufffff, asi, sin refritos ni pautas. Es complicado dar una opinión puramente subjetiva sobre cosas ya dichas, de las que aprehendes, sin mostrar de donde vienen tus gustos, tu creatividad, tus pautinhas queridas y amistosas. Y él tiene razón, todo se cuece, oye.
¿Que le está pasando al probre Miguel? Pues la misma fiebre que tuve yo cuando abrí esta ventaneja de iluminaciones y freidurías, pero él lo piensa y lo fundamenta. Ole y ole, y aquí me tiene, enganchada a su Tumblr, OROVIOBLOG donde modesto enseña de donde saca sus criterios alegres. Ahora está a puntito de abrir una web chulísima, pero voy a dejar de hacerle la pelota que se pondrá rojo como un pimiento (solo lo lees tú, no te preocupes)
El caso es que estas cosas me ordenan, y hacen que caiga en la cuenta. No quiero hacer de Naftalina un sitio de sermones, ni un diario de abordo de mi vida lujuriosa (aiiii si..), así que empezaré por ponerme en fila, y hablar de una reciente diseñadora que va directa a mi carpeta de referencias; con todos ustedes, Rachel Sender, una chica polifacética, algo que siempre me gustará ser. Diseñadora gráfica, ilustradora, cargada de metáforas e ideas ingeniosas como el proyecto para Mallorca sobre Quelitas y sobrasada. Hecharle un ojo a su web que vale la pena, dejo un par ideas que me han gustado muchíísimo, a ver que os parecen!

¿IS THERE ANYONE?
Is all his fault, wolf of books, magazines , arts & customs; the man who persuaded me to plastered the living’s room floor with Cinemania’s pages. Michael raise me the issue of the horizonts and goals about Naftalina. The limits of my references about what’s clever and creative. ¿Which are your referents? Uuuf, he asked suddenly, without anything else. It’s difficult to give a purely subjective opinion about things that are already said, without displaying the source of your tastes, your creativity, your own friendly gides. And he’s right, hey, everything has to be cooked.
There’s a spanish song called: ‘What’s going on with Michael?’. Maybe he’s been in the same feber I had when I started with this – my own- little window about lights and fried ideas, but he things more and argue deeper. And now here I am, addicted to his blog OROVIOBLOG, is where, in all modestly, he shows his own source of inspiration and creativity.
Anyway, I’m talking about him because all of that let me think and tidy my criteria. I don’t want Naftalina to be a site about my kind of live (I mean, like a diary) , so I’m getting ready to talk about my new discovery; I want to talk about a graphics designer who goes stright to my reference’s folder: with all you , Rachel Sender. She’s full of clever metaphoers and ideas as the Quelita’s Project about Mallorca (Spain).

Brutales los collages watercolors, la tonalidad de la foto y la acuarela, me recuerda mucho a Miquel en su momento ‘rincón de lectura e interiorización’ (las suyas en breves caerán como primicia en referencias -¿quién dijo refrito?- )
I really love the watercolour collages, the tonality of the Pictures and her style. It reminds me Michael when he’s on the reader’s corner of Buckingham, be sure that your paints are going to be here as another clever reference. ¿Who said rehashed?
